The pavillion stands self-assured and in dialog with the trees and park surrounding and the attrium of the American Wing of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, acknowledging the fact that the birds around have little interest in the cultural assets inside
of the museum.
This very dis-interested cycle of life shall be made accessible to the urban dweller through the pavillion: there is no other program, neither outside nor
inside the museum but
the nature surrounding it.
